The Journey

We are committed to serving the finest speciality coffee that is ethically sourced, sustainable and expertly roasted.

We are proud to be working in partnership with Outpost Coffee Roasters. Working with indigenous communities who are charged with protecting the South American Rainforest, Outpost provide better pay and support for growers with good farming and processing practices.

Our house blend is made of 50% Peruvian Cotishari beans which are grown by the Ashaninka tribe (pictured) and 50% Ethiopian Natural beans.

We are passionate about serving an excellent decaffeinated coffee as this is something hard to find in a regular coffee house. Our decaf is a Swiss Water 

espresso blend made of 50% Brazilian and 50% Guatemalan beans.

Our Ingredients

We have made sure the produce we use has been sourced from local butchers, bakers, greengrocers and dairy farmers.

Ralph's Farm deliver our free range dairy and eggs with the milk delivered in glass bottles each day. The creamy milk produced by their Pedigree Holstein Friesan cows compliments our house blend coffee perfectly.

Paul's Quality Meats ensures our bacon and sausages are tasty (although we also offer veggie sausages for our vegetarian and vegan customers).

Alimentari Di Alberti provides us with the freshest fruit and vegetables straight from the markets each day.

Roger's Bakery has won great taste awards for its Seeded Malthouse along with additional GOLD in the world bread awards for their Sourdough.

Kobe Coffee is an independent specialist coffee shop set up by two Saddleworth brothers, Joe and George Ford. We are committed to creating a friendly, sophisticated environment for everyone to enjoy expertly crafted coffee,  delicious food from our small but tasty menu and a glass of fizz or Donkey Stone ale for that special occasion.
